Cindy:

Cindy Sheehan is a nutcase, whacked out, amoral, unprincipled, dictator-loving, America-hating dingbat from hell; and these are her good points.

Why It's Okay to Bash Cindy Sheehan

Cindy Sheehan dishonors the memory of her son by attacking the people and ideals her son died for, and by supporting the monsters that killed him. Her son would not approve of the way she is using his name to promote her own Anti-American agendas. She hates America and her son did not.Her son gave up his life for America in its war on terror; Cindy has given up her life for self-aggrandizement on behalf of evil.

Cindy at Guantanamo

Cindy's most recent exploit is her protesting Guantanamo. She and her other whacko leftists are objecting to America's "torture" tactics at the prison and the "inhumane" treatment of the prisoners.

This is really interesting, since prisoners at Guantanamo are treated with kid gloves these days, have access to the Red Cross, get recreation hours, top medical treatment, prayer time five times a day with official Qurans, good food in compliance with Muslim precepts, and all the legal rights now due them by recent court decisions. What does she want for them, cake on their birthdays? These fiends get this class A treatment despite the fact that they continue to plot the murder of their jailors, throw feces at them at every opportunity, and hatch plots to massacre Americans once they get out of there.

Her Buddy Castro

Cindy's hypocrisy is galling. Guantanamo sits in an area near 14 Cuban prisons. In these Cuban hellholes, prisoners do not get medical care, have sub par food, no access to lawyers, no trials, and no communications with family and friends. Cindy was asked by the wives and mothers of these Cuban prisoners (whose crime was to speak out against Castro, nothing more), to protest these prisons too. Cindy and her hypocritical friends ignored the women's request. Cindy will never protest her buddy Castro. After all, he is an evil dictator, a communist, and a thug—one of Cindy's kindred spirits.

Cindy's Influence

Cindy thinks she is in part responsible for the Democratic victory in the recent elections, and for the country's mood swing against the Iraq War. I hope not. I suspect that people reached their conclusions for the elections without the aid of the brilliant Sheehan mind. I rather suspect that she has marginalized herself, and that most of America know her for what she is, a narcissistic loon from the left.

Cindy's Wish

I have a suggestion that will make both Cindy and America happy. I suggest that they give her what she is asking for. Let her into Guantanamo. Then, invite her into a cell; shut the door, lock it, and throw away the key. Then, "torture" her by forcing her to watch FOX news all day long.

She'd be happy because her theory about the way America arrests Guantanamo prisoners for no reason would be proven true; she'd be a martyr to her cause; and she'd also be proving that America "tortures" its Guantanamo prisoners. Everyone would be happy.

Guantanamo, Guantanamo, Guantanamo,
It's a crime and a frickin' sin,
We've got to let Cindy in.
Then keep, Cindy, in.
Keep her in, keep her in, keep her in.
Don't let Cindy out.
Give her more reasons to shout.
Make her watch FOX, while she sits on an ox,
Forced to munch bagels and lox and…
For God's sake, let her in.
If you don't, it's a big fat sin.

Where Are You Cindy, Guardian of Human Rights?

Babalu Blog: What will Cindy do?: Wives of jailed dissidents urge U.S. activist Sheehan to visit Cuba's prisons. January 08, 2007.
The Ladies in White wrote a letter to Cindy Sheehan and her Code Pinko cohorts asking the group to visit a Cuban prison and attest to the inhumane conditions of same:

HAVANA: Wives and mothers of Cuban political prisoners urged U.S. peace activist Cindy Sheehan on Monday to visit the island's state-run jails during her weeklong trip to Cuba to call for the closure of the U.S.-operated Guantanamo prison.

The Ladies in White, a group of women demanding the release of their loved ones, described what they called "inhumane" conditions at Cuba's prisons in a letter for Sheehan that was sent to international reporters. The group said it was trying to get a copy to Sheehan as well.

"At the same time you and your noble followers fight for the closure of the U.S. prison at the Guantanamo naval base ... just a few miles away at the provincial Guantanamo prison in Cuban territory, peaceful and defenseless political prisoners suffer inhumane conditions, (living) without potable water and with poor nutrition, deficient medical assistance, insects and rodents, limited visits and precarious communication," the letter said.

"We exhort you to visit the prisons of Cuba, chosen randomly, and not those prepared" by authorities, it added.

Cindy's Son

BLACKFIVE: Army Specialist Casey Sheehan - Someone You Should (Have) Know(n): Posted By Blackfive.
Casey Sheehan grew up in a devout Catholic home. He served as an altar boy and then as a key member of his church's youth group for years.

When he was old enough, Casey joined the Boy Scouts, becoming the very second Eagle Scout out of his troop.

He enlisted in the Army when he was twenty years old.

See the above linked post for the rest of this article on Casey.

Story of Two Families

Also, read this book about the way two families handled the death of their sons in the Iraq war, the Sheehans and the Johnsons.

"AMERICAN Mourning" is an elegantly lyrical book about soldiers and sons killed in combat. The authors compare how two American families - the Sheehans and the Johnsons - reacted to the loss of their sons in combat in Iraq, and how they are in many ways a metaphor for the country itself. The story juxtaposes the grieving process of the two families - especially Cindy Sheehan, Casey's mother, and Joe Johnson, Justin's father, showing how each reacted to the worst news a parent can receive in radically different ways.

Cindy Sheehan directed her grief and anger not at the terrorists whom she called "freedom fighters." She said that she "did not blame the man who killed Casey" but instead blamed President Bush whom she holds accountable for the lost soldiers. Joe Johnson's grief also flared as white-hot anger, and at age 45 he joined the National Guard determined to go to Iraq as a gunner and "kill the bastards" who killed his beloved Justin. The media portrayed Cindy as "Mother Sheehan," a grief-stricken mother whose world had been destroyed and who wished only to be consoled by President Bush.

But the authors recount a back-story that documents a massive, highly professional and well-orchestrated PR campaign backed by deep-pocketed sponsors like MoveOn.org and George Soros. At some point Sheehan morphed into an aggressive feminist who abandoned her family, ran off with another man and embraced the radical agenda that the anti-Bush movement used her to promote.

Joe Johnson trained hard, went to Iraq and patrolled the deadly roads laced with IEDs and ambushes. He resumed drinking after Justin's death and reportedly continues to seek solace in the bottle, though he has given up his mission of personally avenging his son's loss by killing terrorists. Both Cindy and Joe put their spouses and families through additional stress by internalizing their anger and abandoning their families to fend for themselves. Cindy left permanently, while Joe eventually came home to face his demons.--New York Post, November 19, 2006
