Obama Passes Clinton, Thompson to Run

While my computer is in shop being repaired, let me at least say this today--Barack has passed Hillary for the time being in the opinion polls. Secondly, Thompson is already at 13% before he has officially declared.

So, guess what? We've got two socialists on the Democratic side, with socialized medicine and a weakening of the military--versus a staunch conservative, who supports the War in Iraq.

One thing is for sure, we're going to get a real choice.

I wonder if our dear country realizes what they are getting themselves into?

  3. Thanks for your comments, guys. I was impressed with Thompson when I heard him. He's going to run an "unorthodox" campaign, I've heard. This means he won't be out campaigning so much as doing interviews on radio and TV. We'll see how that strategy works. Either it will be revolutionary, or it will keep him from pressing the flesh enough to make Americans feel good about him. We'll see.

  4. Do Americans EVER know what they get themselves into when we elect someone to high office? Needless to say, it will be an interesting ride....

  6. I missed out on the debates (and I wanted to see them all!) Man, I think it's basically a crap shoot right now. I like Giulianni and Obama, but no one REALLY stands out to me.
